Bristol Two-wheel Training
WHY US?
We are a small friendly company of lifelong riders who are committed to help others enjoy what we enjoy safely.
We are a "no frills" organisation, we work from a home office and do not employ a receptionist, all of which helps to keep our prices low. However we do not compromise on the the quality of the motorcycles, clothing, radios and training provided. Our CBT site is large by most people's standards and heated toilets and refreshments (hot drinks and pies) are available on site.
We run our courses "back to back" so only one course is running at any given time which means that we have permanent back-up in the event of staff illness so you won't be let down.
We do not try to put as many "bums on saddles" as possible. Quality of training comes first. Ratios per instructor are a maximun of 2:1 in all circumstances and all pairs will be matched for experience. If you are learning to ride a geared motorcycle you will not be matched with a non-beginner or a beginner on a motorcycle without gears.
We use Honda CG125 M-1's (2001-2003) for basic training. The M-1 is the first model to have an electric starter and the only model which retains the kick-start as a back-up which makes it perfect for training.
For Direct Access training we have Suzuki GS500E's which have been modified by the fitting of raised handlebars making it easier for the rider to sit more upright which assists in balancing the U-turn manoeuvre. The bikes are also fitted with an Audicator unit which is designed to make it more difficult to leave an indicator on accidentally.
